Wonderful!
Howdy Jim,
When I was a kid I loved Roy Rogers and Gene Autry. They're music was very special to me. I grew up on Tennessee Ernie Ford's gospel music. I loved his rendition of "Wayfaring Stranger". You sure did a great job. Want to do a co-write? Here are the lyrics you do the music and record. OK. Please let me know.
COWBOY'S CATHEDRAL
When you go to church on Sunday,
I'm on the range, pounding the sod,
While You're sitting in the lap of luxury,
I'm sitting in the lap of God,
(chorus)
If you want to see how I worship,
Come ride along with me,
We can kneel beside a babbling brook,
Or perhaps a tall, tall tree,
We can listen to the wind, play a hymn,
As it moves through the high chaparral,
With His own hands my Creator built,
The cowboy's cathedral,
I'm surrounded by His presence,
For He created everything,
He even wrote the song I love,
To hear the meadowlark sing,
(bridge)
Thank you, God, for all I have, I really have it all,
When Your Spirit moves me,
