most men die like animals
Most Men Die Like Animals is a band trying to think outside the box kind of...we try to balance a certain amount of melody with a certain amount of noise...there is alot of chordal bass and some choppy half-punk/half-abstract drums...some of the songs are more quirky and noisy where others are definitely more melodic...the band has been under construction for a while...we started years back with generic punk rock...and have evolved much since that...and consequently lost a guitarist through the evolutionary process of the band(we are in fact still looking for a guitarist)
...and its always cool to tell us how you think we sound... on the message board if you cant talk to us in person or email us...
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
mike and i had played together for years with my brother anthony before he left as said before until differences in our respective opinions caused us to part ways (a real democratic way of saying we didnt want to play in a band together anymore)...this brings us to today...after a few months on our own me and mike have refined some of our past jams into songs...and more is yet to come...
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
due to the fact that we have yet to make a name for ourselves (or compile a formidable catalog of actual songs as opposed to disorganized jams) we do not often play shows...but we will hopefully in the future play shows
Your musical influences
Fugazi, The Minutemen, Radiohead, The Jesus Lizard, The Pixies, Black Flag...that should sum up the fact that we have too many influences...a little of everything shines through...though not neccessarily the bands signature sounds...we do borrow some generic sounds...but more or less restrict ourselves from blatantly (or consciously) ripping off bands we like...

these guys are local noise-rock practioners with enough electronically distorted rock to destroy the hearing anyone within a 10 mile radius...friends of ours...but outside of that, definitely something to give a listen to...very interesting music...
