morrissey lennon
My name is Morrissey or David Lennon (long, unimportant story). I am 17 and live in Co.Clare in the west of Ireland. I play piano, guitar and a bunch of lesser instuments. Here you will find some home recordings of a few songs.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
14/12/2005 -started writing.. erm hard to say but I reckon about a year and a half ago. started playing guitar last christmas. self taught in everyrthing I play. Not sure what else to say...
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
no. but i like meeting up with people and playing.
Your musical influences
I love all music really so it's hard to say. erm - tom waits, nick cave, radiohead,leonard cohen, the divine comedy, the smiths, the quieter smashing pumpkins stuff, will oldem, dylan,.., i could go on. don't get the wrong idea though - i mean don't expect anything great. these are just some of the artists that come to mind. I could just as easily say ludovico einaudi as i could system of a down.
What equipment do you use?
a crap nonelectro-acoustic guitar, a mic designed for spoken word and a keyboard. also blu-tac to stick the mic to the guitar, an electric guitar i borrowed from owen, and cubase for recording. i also play recorder and harmonica and have a grade eight on the triangle.
