Moreover's New Trick
Moreover’s New Trick is a fresh new Modern Christian Rock band from the Illiana (that’s Illinois & Indiana). Their eclectic repertoire includes original power ballads, modern punk and alternative rock. Their enthusiasm and love for Jesus is infectious. The band is made up of lead singer Dani, lead guitarist Ken Tucker, bassist Tony Hunley and drummer Troy Teaney.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
The band has performed across the Midwest for coffee houses, churches, youth groups, fundraisers and music festivals and shared stage with such Christian artist such as Disciple, The Insiderz, Kids in the Way, Slingshot 57, Wisper Loud, Randy Stonehill and Mic Rowe.
Music Festivals performed at include: Blessfest 2003 in Sugarland, Texas; Sonshinefest 2003 Wilmar, Minnesota; Indie Fest 2003 Pendleton, Indiana, Youth Jam 2003 Elnora, Indiana, and Youth Afire 2002 Bicknell, Indiana.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yes since February of 2002 we've averaged about 40 gigs a year. While we've done gigs as far away as Suglarland, TX and Wilmar, WI we do most of our concerts in Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, Kentucky and Ohio. We do have a tour scheduled in April during Dani's spring break that will take us to Pennsylvania and Maryland.
