interesting opening as usual, sort of psychedelic. Again the voice not strong enough. The drums let you down as they clash. Does not do it at all but some interesting ideas, like the right panned guitar up beat and the spacey reggae feel.

interesting use of piano with lots of production, interesting intro, does not do enough for me. the lead instrument, i think is a brass instrument and it would be best played on a proper instrument. This is a good piece with some interesting chord changes but in general does not do enough to move me.

Nice opening and smooth start, well placed for voice and nice and spacey a great groove and interesting progression, a boss that is well suited for clubs and venues. A great piece and very marketable. I think has much potential and despite the 50's progression is very cool, the whistling is cool. This is hit.

I can see the concept. Its a Rocky Roy Orbison the guitar is cool but the overall ideas are a bit feint and the voice is one that requires fame to make it work, such as Eric Clapton or one of the stone. Voice is widely spaced around and the concept is simple but cool however if panned one way the voice will almost be gone.

I listen to the original opening idea and concept and play it back on a good amp and an average pa. It does not grab me because the overall texture, in particular the distortion and guitar overpower the voice and the bedding there is not fair, the progression is a basic one, as in the everly brotheres O'my love, which arrived in many variants from the 60's well done for the musing brass at the end, i like the poetic licence here. I guess there are three problems with this piece for me. 1 The texture is a bit messy' at the distortion. 2. the lead voice needs better production 3 the chord structure is a bit done to death and I think its hard to make a song with such progression work unless another element, like the lyrics or voice is so brilliant that it caries it through. Peace.

A beautiful and clear Ostinati. Have you listened to Nick Drake? technically great.
