MoonDawg

MoonDawg is a Rock 'n Roll band who plays music that resembles Classic 70's rock attitude but with modern sounds and lyrics. The band hails from Winona, MN on the Mighty Mississippi River and the eclectic music would be good for either raging down the bluffs on your mountain bike, or paddling the backwaters. ...but what it all comes down to is the show. MoonDawg has a solid live performance that you're gonna love.

Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Every live show has its special moment. ...whether it's connecting with a member of the crowd, or the music or lights. Many times, it's something that wasn't ever planned. There's always something. We play mainly bars since that's where there is to play. I wish there were more diverse places/venues to play. We've been looking all over the mid-West trying to find that diversity. --and to spread our rock-love.
Your musical influences
Influences... other local musicians, our friends, our teachers, and also some other famous people.
What equipment do you use?
Jim: Gibson Les Paul, Ibanez Artcore AS83, Difiance Seraph, Fender Hot Rod DeVille 410. Martin DC-16GTE. Dunlop WaWah, Boss OD, Boss Comp, Boss Delay DD-6, ElectroHarmonics Smallstone. Jim's a slut for lights, buttons and knobs. ...and can't afford lunch. Scotty: Modulus, Fender Jazz, Eden world tour 800 head and SWR 4x10 cab. Scott makes us the #2 at Bub's Brewery. Bryan: Difiance Guitars custom, '72 Fender Telecaster Thinline, Fender Hot Rod DeVille 410, Boss DD-6, Boss ME-50. Bryan loves the smell of campfires. and Al, our drummer, plays drums. That's not equipment, it's wood, metal and plastic being banged together.
Anything else?
It's all about intonation and tone. If is sounds good, it is good.
