With influences ranging from New Order and The Ocean Blue to Cheap Trick, Monumental Radio always delivers a high-energy, over-the-top show. And Monumental Radios live shows are probably the reason the band recently was voted the Best Band in Springfield by the readers of 417 Magazine (September 2000).
Having earned critical acclaim from local and regional media, Monumental Radio has nearly completed work on their second full-length album. "Overlimit" is due to hit racks in early 2001.Band/artist history
Monumental Radio was formed in the Spring of 1996 by singer/bassist Rob Radio and singer/guitarist Adam Miles.
In late 1997 the band released its first album "Everything You Need".
After spending a few months in various other projects the band began playing out in October 1999 with new drummer Jared Hoffpauir.
Monumental Radio is currently putting the finishing touches on their next album "Overlimit".Have you performed in front of an audience?We play all over the Midwest, St. Louis, Columbia, Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Fayetteville, and Kansas City.
We've played with "Deep Blue Something". "Gas Giants", which is made up of Robin Wilson of "Gin Blossoms" and the drummer of Counting Crows.
