all these trax have a certain folky vibe permeating thru' 'em and I like them. I have the first song on repeat at the mo'. Are you interested in doing a little gig with other acoustica northern artists. I'm from Blackburn and have a site here, I just think it'll be cool to hold some sort of showcasey event somewhere...we have venues over here so ahve listen to my stuff and if you like what you here...drop me an E-mail!

hey aaron, yeh I have Boss Br8 which is a cute little eight track combined with any guitars I can manage to thrift off friends because my own arn't worth the wood their carved out of, and two mics - an sm57 and a rode nt3.
but yeh, the eight track is great and all, but sometimes I yearn for the old days of tape, and the annoying hiss of my old tascam 4 track!!

look at this, I leave this message board along for scarce minutes, and it descends into neanderthal esque gesticulating!!! you kids need constant parental guidance......:).....it looks like wanda has been at the bud ice herself...!! *glug glug*...:D
and shhhhh, meeps, no-one needs to know hangin' out ain't yours..!! the secret is safe with me.....!!! ;) lets not encourage a descending of laywers with sharp suits and sharp haircuts!
but I wonder about the copyrighting of it too, and a lot of unreleased elliott stuff......hmmmmmm

how did you find this site James...??? crafty!!! ;) anyway, yeh, it was thanks to downloading your hangin' out and another song of yours I liked that I found the charms of soundclick in the first place! and yes, nylon guitar on Dead As Stone - nylons sound too cool for superlatives, usually not when I'm playing them but in general!! :D
and yes, thanks charleskane and wanda, I am a lager man but have been known to hit the real stuff now and again since I was told a whiskey life is better than beer! stay away from the bud ice, although I recently held a drunken conversation defending the much maligned budweiser which takes a bum rap because of it's advertising campaign!!!

cheers James, it has been a while since I updated and while I probably should have let sleeping dogs lie, I awoke the canine and uploaded a couple of songs...!! I am attempting to record now but the process is arduous and fruitless....*sigh*... and speaking of canines :), thanks woof99, I did indeed venture over and check out your stuff and like what I hear. the female who sings with you a couple of times has a cute voice...!! ;) I don't really play live much or at all really, but am looking to venture out there, so let us know of any manchester gigs and I'll at least come down and see you play and we can talk music and discuss my crippling shyness at playing live....
