Monochrome Circuit, meaning constantly gray, is Derek Jonathan. Derek is currently hard at work on his debut full length entitled "The Translucent Reflection".
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Not really much history yet besides working on the debut the debut full-length. A few remixes of a Celldweller song, and yes, believe it or not I just recently remixed a Miley Cyrus song that you can find on the myspace, along with an Aesthetic Perfection remix as well which you can find online. The first single off the album will be released soon.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I've never played live with this project, but I'm starting to throw that idea around. The best way to get your music out there is by playing it live, so it's a possibility.
Your musical influences
I love music, so I love all sorts of genres, but every day life inspires me. The smallest things give me an idea, and from there I attempt to bring them to life.
What equipment do you use?
Gibson and Schecter guitars, Raven Amps, FL Studio 8, Pro Tools.
