Money Clip (aka Clip)
Been in the game for a while now, '88 to be exact. When I hear dudes on the radio I laugh...its all garbage. I want to bring the realness back to the streets the way it was when I was growing up. Besides that, I'm just a solo cat working with some DJ's/Producers who got some serious heat. They know who they are. Be on the look out for "Respect Me" (the mixtape) coming in June!
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I'm always live son! Oh...you mean play publicaly! Na, I don't play live yet, but looking into some venues in the near future.
Your musical influences
There are too many influences to name. My man Minus Nine really gets behind me and pushes me. I give a lot of credit to him for staying behind me and keeping me positive thru this whole mixtape. Look him up on here...dude is pure Crack! I get influenced by daily things that happen. Its like "Whatever's next", you dig? I feel like Pee when he said "The next song I write might be about you"!
