Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Like most teenagers in Japan, Jun Kiyama loved music and was a member of a band.
They played some gigs and made some early demos.
But Jun took his music more seriously and continued to develop his craft,
writing songs and making some more early recordings during the 1990fs.
Jun became an experienced musician and producer, working with many other musicians
and vocalists over the years.
But Jun had a vocal sound in his head, and in all those years he looked
but couldnft find the perfect vocalist for his music.
In 1998 Jun asked his wife Yoko to help him record some demo tapes of some new songs.
It came as a great surprise to Jun that Yoko possessed exactly the voice hefd been
looking for ? hefd been looking for years for the perfect voice for his songs,
and he found it at home, right under his nose!
Soon Jun was recording Yokofs vocals on many songs, and Monaural Voice was born.
