Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Well, I started to post a sample of my new guitars sound. But now that I'm back to playing after a 22 year layoff I hope to track my improvements by posting them here. Prior to my dropping out I played for 16 years in a Rock/Country Rock band. This was during the late 60's through early 80's and it was an exciting time. Now I just want to settle back into an acoustic venue and enjoy playing for the sake of playing.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Not at the moment...maybe by next summer
Your musical influences
Many...but some of my favorites are Kris Kristoffersen, Neil Young, Eric Clapton, Richard (Dickie) Betts, Jerry Garcia, Charlie Daniels, Waylon Jennings, George Harrison, Grateful Dead and many others too numerous to mention.
What equipment do you use?
Mostly my Martin 000-16SGT but will also pick up my Takamine G320BL, Guild D25CH and Alvarez MSD1. For recording I use a Fostex MR-8MkII with a Digital Reference DR-VX1 microphone and a Kustom KM-4 microphone. I do the final mix using Audacity on my PC.
