Mojo Zap
HI : It's kinda hard to explain Mojo Zap as you just cant put a name on what I do or stick it into one class of music. It totally depends on how I feel as to what the music end's up sounding like. I started seriously playing when I was 11. My first real band was when I was 15 called : The Blueberry Grapevine. My best band though was : The Blood Puppets from 1987-1990 Had a huge following on the east coast. My solo work is by far a better reflection of my broad spectrum of sound.Have you performed in front of an audience?Right now I play wherever someone has tater money! You can find me on any given weekend playing all the dives on State street,(Southside)of Chicago.
Your musical influences
Jimi Hendrix,Robin Trower,Mark Farner,Albert King. As to what to expect with my music it goes from folk music and clasical all the way to blues & rock.What equipment do you use?
I play a lot of guitars but my main guitar is one I made myself which is similar to a Fendar Strat. I like to run all tube Fender Twin Reverb amp's My ideal setup is one amp set up clean with no effects,one amp set up saturated and dirty in overdrive mode and one amp for all the effects. My pedals are normally a cry baby wah pedal,an old super fuzz pedal,a danelectro sustain,sometimes I run a Boss stero chorus pedal and flanger.Anything else?
