Hi Keith,
Came here from your post on the forums and for another listen to "No-where left to go" You know already that I love this track, but I also ventured to your site, and wanted to tell you I think "Maybe I'm a hound-dog" really rocks! (short sample as it is)
I loved reading how each song was inspired etc. and you're certainly a seasoned writer for TV! Wow what talent,
(and a Beatles fan to boot!)
Great stuff.
All the very best to you and the band for 2005.
Your fan from over the pond, Carol.

Hey Pontiac Fellers! Yall done changed yall's name since the last time we heard "PONTIAC MAN"!! We kindly likes Mohave Road... although when ol Dan - our perducer - lived in Toluca Lake, he never tolt us that they was a Mohave Road in La Crescenta! Onliest desert roads was the Angeles Forest Hiway & the Angeles Crest Hiway, the 138 headin' up to meet the 15 Freeway. But we glad we found yall again!
"PONTIAC MAN" sounds as good as it did 6 months ago!!
Ol Dan is a real live songwriter but he'd have a dog-of-a-time writin' sumpin as poignant as "NOWHERE LEFT TO GO". Thats a killer song, Fellers! Hit song!! Wheres Keith Whitley & Dwight Yoakum when y'need'em!!!
Wait! Hey yall! The might be a Mohave Road in Texas!! That's surenuff Tejas dancehall music playin on yall's jukebox right now! We is gettin' "UP ON THE DANCE FLOOR" this very minute!!
Great to find yall again!!

Hi,
"Nowhere left to go"
What a great song this is. I even love the way the guitar riffs in the middle reflect the hopelessness expressed in the lyrics.
Also, some people say key changes are only used to liven up a bad song.
I dissagree, 'cause in a great song like this, key changes really get to me.
Please let me know when you post anymore.
Carol.
