Out of East Texas comes keeping Southern Rock music alive!!! We are dedicated to keep the spirit of the ones that made this form of American music out there for people to enjoy. We pay tribute to those musicians that are no longer with us and to those still out there on the road making Southern Rock for the simple man. Modoc been together 4 years with some mighty fine players. We are putting together our 1st CD called "Free Spirit" and hope to continue making some od the best music created here in the USA.Have you performed in front of an audience?Yea, we like playing the biker rallies they tend to let their hair down and have fun. Good people who love Southern Rock. I guess the best moment was having Rusty Burns of Point Blank come up and play "Mean to your Queenie"/"Nicole" with us!!! Man what a guitar player and a great guy!!!
Your musical influences
We are all into the bands of the south Allman Brothers , Molly Hatchet, MTB, CDB, the Outlaws, Little Feat, Blackfoot, Southern Rock Allstars, 38 Special, Point Blank and of course the great Lynyrd Skynyrd Band.What equipment do you use?
We are into the guitars that our heroes played. Guitars: Gibson Firebird,Les Paul, SG and Strats.
Amps : Ampeg,Marshall,Peavy, and Mesa Boogie.Anything else?
