Mizar Jazz Band (HU)
The Mizar was established in 2002. In the same year the band was entered the LGT Festival's musical competition and we have taken II. award. The next years we have won more than 16 awards on 6 different musical competitions in Hungary. We got first and second places, best soloist and best composer awards and more. In 2006 we have establishd our home recording studio, and started to record a CD wich was newer been published abouth financial problems. In the meantime we are working to the Hungarian Katolik Radio.
The band members are: Fanni Sárközy - on keyboards, singer, composer, finished the Grand Musical University of Hungary, Gábor Pusztai - drumer, percussioner, finished Grand Musical University of Hungary, Peter Schneider - guitarist, finished Ferenc Erkel Conservatory of Jazz Music, Budapest.

Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
In the past five years we was working on small and large stages too, we was recorded our demo, and instrumental pieces for the Hungarian Catholic Radio, and maded soundtrack too for a hungaryan cinema movie. More info at www.mizarmusic.hu
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yes, we have concerts in Hungary.

Our music is similar to Incognito, The Yellow Jackets, The Rippingtones, George Benson, Norman Brown...
What equipment do you use?
Fanni got a Roland RD600, and an Oberheim, Gabor got some Pearl drumset, and Peter got five guitars, a '81 Fender Concert amp, and a Boss GT8 effect.
