Mixedup have grown up as a tight unit and have been recording for since the early 90's. Once we started live shows, people would not stop supporting us. It wasn't so serious at the beginning but now we have a pretty serious studio set up, since the guy who finalises all our production plays with and produces for some major people. We just can't stop making hip hop, it's definately in the blood.Have you performed in front of an audience?Yeah we play live... ya can't beat the rush from standing in front of nodding, cheering hip hop heads! Filling some major clubs on major nights to have peeps shout you back on stage more than once!

This month Hiphoperations got manchester legends Pedigree Chumps who been repin manchester for years plus Gouki Productions a new and up cumming crew ready to tear it up at Hiphoperation. We also have two starting sets for Swagger and Instinctive who came on the open mic last month and tore it up so there getting the chance to show yous a few more tracks. We'l also have our usuall Open mic session hosted by the Analyst plus UK Hip Hop tunes spun by Professor P, Benny E and Captian Wang. Hip Hoperation is a new night that we are setting up, the aim of the night is to develop the Hip Hop scence in Manchester and the North West. I will be contacting all the artists listed on myspace and soundclick based around the manchester area to invite them to come as we looking to develop a community atmosphere and were looking to get these artists to performe at the next events providing we receive the support. The first show will feature an open mic for MC's plus turntablists, DJ's playing UK hip hop and a MCing by the Analyst, Antidote, Connect Logic and Inertia. Please come and support the night on wed 24th May and bring a CD if you want to be considered for performing at the next event, this includes MC's, DJ's and turntablists.Plus only £1.50 a bottle of grolsch or £2.80 for a double.
