Mi-Tyme

Mi-Tyme (pronounced My Time) is an up and coming Chicago R&B group. They are a trio, composed of L, Mr. G, and K-Sparks. Music has been a driving force throughout their lives, and they are ready to break into the industry. K-Sparks expressed We have had a love for music since childhood. We live and breathe music; it is a part of our lives. The members of Mi-Tyme are not only singers, but are writers and producers as well. Some of their influences include Babyface, R.Kelly,Prince, New Edition, Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, Blackstreet and Jodeci; however, they stress that they are a reflection of all good music. Mi-Tyme member Mr. G stated, We are bringing a fresh sound, mixed with that old school flavor of the past. Our goal is to make good music that transcends across genres. Over the past four years, Mi-Tyme has been performing throughout Chicago. They are currently recording their debut album. When asked about their music and creativity, they became quite animate. L voiced, We have songs for everyone that touch on a variety of topics. What makes us stand out is we do every aspect of our music from writing, arranging, and producing. All of us have contributed musically, vocally and lyrically to the album.
