Mister C, John Crispino, is a songwriter, drummer, recording engineer, and studio owner. Influenced by Robert Plant and rocks greatest drummers Carmine Appice and John Bonham, Crispino used his extensive percussion skills to create " Hip - No - Tized ", his first release for the A.T.C. Entertainment Group. It is a hypnotic blend of soul grabbing percussion, theatrical vocals, heavy metalish guitars, and propulsive progressive keyboards. With rock ballads and dance tracks it covers a range of genres. Lyrically, "Mister C" touches on many different subjects, ranging from undying love and commitment, in the song "I'll Be There For You"...to the ultra power dance song "She Says", which deals with everything a sensual relationship has to offer...."She Says" is currently being played in some of the largest dance clubs in the U.S. and abroad. "Mister C" leaves no emotion or topic untouched in this debut CD. John plays all drum, bass and keyboard parts, along with lead guitar on four tracks. Rick Witkowski, the B.E. Taylor Group's guitarist, adds potent playing on "Hallelujah" and three other tunes. David Granati of the Granati Brothers applies smoking six-string riffs on "You Got a Hold on Me." 11 tracks in all, "Hip - No - Tized" has sensual soulful bass lines, and Crispino's unique singing voice, that reviewers have compared to early Robert Plant. Get this CD now at CDBaby.com/misterc. Independent music reviewer John Scalzi called "Hip - No - Tized " Pure Arena Rock. Hip-No-Tized plays like a loving tribute to Now and Zen-era Plant: Track after track has the sonic ambiance that oozed from Zen's richly-produced pores, with the rock synths and rubbery bass, strategically placed electronic drums, massive background choruses, and Crispino's singing voice foursquare (well, threesquare) in the same grainy, keening tenor genre that Plant founded
