My stage name is Mista V. I am just a brother that has the ability to put my life experience along with the experience of others in my music. I believe as an artist you should always say the things that people are scared to say but often think about. I wouldn't call myself a one dimensional person. I'm like a diamond the more you examine a brother; the more sides you may notice. I think people all over have some life experiences in common. I know about loss, I know about trying to survive as a black man in this world. I know about barely escaping death although many people I grew up with didn't. I started rapping in middle school in rap battles before and after school. I eventually start freestyling at house parties. making punch lines that were so funny that even my competition would bust out laughing. I started making music three years ago when I realized that my talent can be showcased in a positive way.Have you performed in front of an audience?I played live a few times at small event but I would eventually like to go on tour. I like performing live as long as I can connect with the crowd.
