Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Mr. Mental and Cataz flowed together since early days in 1990 and have been on it in one way or another since...met up with the Thane in '94 or '95 and he added a new influence to the group but seemed to jus fit right in...blended talents came together beautifully and it was all lovely from there...have done shows and produced material but havent pursued it as career. Now that I work on my own (with support from Wifey), I work to make somethin' good happen that we all can enjoy!!!
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yea lately I've been playin' live around locally, and yes I love it!! Been gettin' positive feedback from friends, fam and strangers and I hope everyone has a good time when I'm on the mic...
Your musical influences
influenced from everything from Public Enemy to Coltrane...from Ghetto Boys and Third Bass to Mos Def and Kweli...from Slick Ric and Big Daddy Kane to KRS ONE and Beat Street (yea the movie)...from Motown to classic Rock to P-Funk
