Mista Mead-I'm a local rapper from Vancouver,BC.I'm pretty new to the recording scene.I have a real passion for rapping and I cant see myself ever stopping.The stuff I recorded so far was on a low budget but i plan to keep working at it.I got a promotional Mixtape I'm working on that I'll later post
on soundclick.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I used to just play around with the idea of rapping until i figured out I was good at it.Now i'ts a huge part of my life.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
The only live performance I've done so far was at an assembly at my school.It was a great first time live performance 'cause it got a pretty hyped up good reaction.
Your musical influences
The first rap album I ever bought was "CASH CROP" by The Rascalz.The group that I listened to that got me hooked on rap was Public Enemy.Those are my firsts but I got too many influences to name.Other than Rap I listen to alot of reggae and R and B.Lately I've been getting really hyped to rap by listening to some local rap like Exile and Hooded Lynch Mafia who are working on a mixtape and album.
What equipment do you use?
I record over at the home of a local rapper named Exile.
