Mistah Blood
I am a Mexican producer and beatmaker, born in Mexico City and currently living in San Luis Potosí.
For over a decade, I have worked on numerous productions with the San Luis underground scene and other locations in Mexico and Latin America. I have collaborated with notable artists such as Mc Luka, Minse and Dj Zack Vader. Today I work at Mexa Noise Studios, my own recording, digital art, videomaking and animation studio for independent artists.
My productions are characterized by their focus on classic styles, solid percussion, and subtle bass lines. However, my versatility has led me to explore and master contemporary genres such as Drill, Phonk, Trap, Future RnB, Lo-Fi, Dancehall, among others.

Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I started creating my own music in 2010, back then I only wrote and recorded. After having recorded the first album with my old rap group (Real de Kalle) I had the need to create our own tracks since before that we used tracks downloaded from the internet. The path so far has not been easy, however, perseverance and passion for what I do have kept me immersed in constant inspiration to create high quality music.
Your musical influences
My influences in hip hop are broad and diverse. I started listening to Tha Mexakinz, Psycho Realm, and Lootpack, but also Three 6 Mafia, Tommy Wright III, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Double X Posse, Nine, Jeru the Damaja, D.I.T.C., Gang Starr, J Dilla, Common, Blahzay Blahzay, Boogie Down Productions, Ill Al Skratch, Lost Boyz, Big L, and many more
