Misery (CAN)
I am the Count. I compose all the music solo. I use a drum machine, play all guitars electric/acoustic, I sing the vocals, I play all synths/piano, and bass. My music can't be really catagorized because i create alot of sounds. I mainly focus on keeping the music dreary, dark, bleak and melancholic.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I have been playing guitar since i was 13 and i've been playing keyboards/piano for 3 years? I started Misery in 2002.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I haven't played live. I would like to perform some songs live but not all.
Your musical influences
My musical influences.. Classical music has inspired me alot. So has Black Metal. Particulary bands like Les Legions Noir. They only focus on creating true music, not commercial bullshit.
What equipment do you use?
I play a Washburn G-IV, Aria acoustic, Q? bass, Yamaha PSR-292, leaf drums, Alesis Wildfire 30 watt amp with a built in effects processor, Vantage B15 bass amp.
