Miscreant is a four piece rock band that formed in 2004. Based in Auckland New Zealand, Miscreant played at every gutter, bar and dingy lounge they could in order to fine tune their rock and drinking skills. Once a six piece, and previously a band with a different name, Miscreant have evolved into one of the countries best up and coming rock bands.
On one fateful night, following quite a few solid drinking rounds, the boys decided that their day jobs “Sucked a fat one” and rock stardom seemed a far better idea than succumbing to a life of slaving away for some rich wanker at a regular day job.
So, while kneeling before the gods of rock (An old poster of what vaguely resembled Led Zeppelin) they made a pact to get exceedingly boozed twice a week and bash the living shit out of their instruments in an attempt to replicate the success of musical legends such as Wham! and Milli Vanilli.
With two singles that got played on a number of radio stations, including the Rock FMs' off the record segment, and a video (Hey Mister) so the people of the world could realise these lads are in fact males, the boys have finally got their shit together and have just finished recording their debut album. Due out in 2008, this album is set to become a huge brown stain on the New Zealand music industry.Have you performed in front of an audience?All around Auckland.
