Mirror Image is a three piece Christian band that plays straight up rock-n-roll, baked in the Texas sun. The band is Amy Barnes on Drums, Matt Merchant on Guitar and Vox, and Roger Morris on Bass and Vox. We believe that as a Christian Band, we are on mission to reach lost and hurting people where ever in the world they may be.Band/artist history
In 1997, Matt was playing in the Spring Texas area with his old band "Concrete Faith. At this same time, Matt's sister was attending college at Huntsville and going to the same church as Roger. Roger had played in a number of garage bands though at the time he was not in a band. While visiting his sister, Matt was introduced to Roger and in 1998 after Matt's band disolved, he moved to Huntsville. Over the next several years, Matt and Roger played live as often as possible in varies setting, mostly for church functions. During this time the sound that would become Mirror Image was developing. In 2001, Josh Bown join in on drums and the band Mirror Image was born. In 2002, the band record a demo album "Marker in Time." Shortly afterward, Josh felt lead in a different direction, and Amy Barnes stepped in on drums. In late 2002 the band start recording a full album and now in 2004 the album is just finishing.Have you performed in front of an audience?We play live around Texas, USA, but are open to traveling around the US to play.
