Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Based in the South of England, Mineral has been producing electronic music for over six years and is currently working as a freelance musician and sound designer. He used to play drums in a guitar based rock band back in the 90's but, after discovering there is more sonic possibility with electronic music, he started playing with sound tools to develop his own take on this art form. He draws from a wide variety of musical and sonic influence from natural, beautiful and through to the bizarre.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Played in London and the South-west of the UK.
Your musical influences
I think its wrong to list names of bands as it can often be very mis-leading. I guess I could say that my favourite record labels are Warp, DeFocus, Skam and Sub rosa but I'd doubt wether that would tell you much about my music. I take my inspiration from nature, people and situations.
What equipment do you use?
G4 running Logic 4 and a ton on Plug-ins too numerous to mention.

Akai S3000
A couple of old synths and an assorment of things to hit, slap and tickle. Oh and my brain.
