Minefield, a rising band destined for commercial success, has been the ultimate result of the collective creativity and musicianship of its five members: Alex, 17; friends Ozzy, Beto, and Gus, 19; and Baldo, 21. Alex, the front-man, is the bands singer/songwriter; while the mesmerizing rhythm and jarring solos are delivered, respectively, by Gus and Beto; finally this montage of emotional hell is completed with Ozzy on drums and Baldo on bass guitar.
Alex, Gus, and Ozzy originally formed the band Pitch Black Alley. After numerous line-up changes, the search for talent was complete with the addition of Baldo and Beto. Thus Minefield was born.
After a few of months of practice the band was ready to unleash its music upon El Paso and Juarez. It was evident that Minefield could assimilate fans from all parts of the musical spectrum. Anyone from pop princesses to death-metal rockers have expressed interest in this genre transcending sonic orgasm.
With a Passion for both their music and performance, Minefield hopes to expand from their local boundaries, and continue to intensify their music limitlessly.Have you performed in front of an audience?We play all over El Paso and Juarez, and plan on going on an multi-state tour this summer.
