Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
After the disbanding of one time RCA records recording artists Papa Vegas, frontman Joel Ferguson and drummer Scott Stephanski joined forces with bass guitarist Martin Heynen, guitar enigma Curt Hines, and Verve Pipe guitarist AJ Dunning to form Miles To Mars.
Blending in-the-pocket guitar and bass with creative keyboard lines, Miles To Mars delivers masterfully constructed songs with arrangements focused on keeping Ferguson's unique vocal style and hooks at the forefront. Ferguson,Hines,and Dunning dial up a wide variety of guitar tones and effects to produce desired moods, while sparingly used synth-born ambient textures heighten the emotive impact of the more delicate pieces. As a unit, Miles to Mars translates Ferguson's poignant songwriting into a dynamic live entity.
