Miles Apart

Our spring 2005 acoustic demo is done and up! We put EVERYTHING up for FREE downloads so have at it. Reguest the cd "One Big Meaning..." for free. Email the band at our contact e-mail address. After many descussions about forming a band, Miles Apart was formed in early may of 2003. Coming up with a name is one of the hardest things that we have gone through so far as a band. It wasn't untill a few days before our first gig that we realized that one was necessary. I don't remember how, but we all agreed that Miles Apart would do fine. The name has grown on us and represents different things to each of the members; we are all different people but share a common love for music. We are all still in our teens so don't be surprised to find songs and lyrics that consist of break ups, let downs, heart breaks, and just being unsure of the future. Some stories true, some not, but by the end of the song, hopefully, there is some meaning, be it a few words from the lyrics or how the guitar strums in a melodic way, that relates to the listeners own life. We would love to do this for the rest of our lives. We have the dreams of pretty much every unsigned band. You might ask "Well, what is so special about Miles Apart?" We work hard getting songs down so that we are at least comforable playing them. We actually sit down and have descussions about things to keep, things to lose, and things that we need to work on. Each practice we have a set number of things to get done and we make sure there is enough time to do it. We are very organized because we want to be successful. We know how to have fun though to. It can't be all work. Though we are still young (our ages and the time spent as a band) we realize that there is always room for improvement. We will keep working hard, and maybe with your help, we will get close to somewhere instead of being miles apart (metaphorically speaking).

Up Comming! !DEMO! -During the summer the band has taken a small break, seeing as how we're all exremely busy. This DOES NOT mean we're breaking up, or even thinking about it, so don't worry.
