Biography: Rapper and beat producer from Berlin, Germany. I started in 1996, when I did my first live freestyle performances at different parties. Only three years later, 1999, I started making my own beatz. Sine then, I started writing lyrics on my own beatz and recorded first tracks. Back in the days, I was with a crew named Reimgeschwader, one Dj and three rappers who were constantly making music. Now, I do most of my stuff on my own or record tracks with various artists, sponsor beatz or give features on different samplers or compilations. Beatz: Mainly inspired by the East coast and French beat elements, I primarily do samplebeatz, which show and reflect my own flavour and do not go with the mainstream as it is usual in Germany. MC Mirror first introduced me to Fasttracker 2, a beat program on an MS-Dos basis. I reached the limits of this program very fast, so I switched to Reason, which still is my only and favourite beat program. One can definitely speak of an own style, even though my beatz not often sound the same but cover many fields of interest in Hip-Hop music. My only equipment is a computer and a midi-keyboard, but it is enough and my beatz are my witnesses. Rap: Even though I originate from West-Berlin, one cannot compare my style with the citys typical image because in my opinion lyrics with content and expression are more important than describing a gangsters image or a hoodrats life. Of course, I wrote battle-tracks and dissed people, but this is only a part and a result of Hip-Hop music. The most important thing is to show and describe problems and situations of everyday's life and society. There is no direct reflection of my own in the lyrics even though I am struck by many problems myself. A deep voice, rhymes with many syllables, and lyrics with intellectual content can be seen as my style and image.
