STONER/DOT productions present this hurriedly thrown together tribute to our white furry friends. Although they are clearly evil.
An attempt at being 'slow and tasteful' with lots of bends and vibrato. Only one short fast lick in the whole thing!
Now Earthlings - I present you with a simple choice. Either die in the vacuum of space or.....tell me how good you thought my phrasing was
Slow Vai-style number. Thanks to PI for the title!
This is a sort-of 'ambient soundscape'. Very 'non-guitar' and 'anti-rock' I suppose. If you like the other tracks on here you will probably hate this, and vice versa! I think it's, well, different!!!
A down'n'dirty funk rock number - similar to something Pat Travers would have done back in the 70's
A vaguely funky jam sort of thing. With a quick blast on the end to get things back to normal!
Not sure what this one is. Blues? Jazz? Jazz/funk? Funky blues? Jazzy bluesy funk? You tell me!
This one is over a Steve Vai backing track and, at the time of recording, I hadn't heard the original. It's very different as you might expect!
A slow 'tasteful' blues number. I never thought it would come to this - back to rock/metal soon, I promise!
I've always loved this song. The first half is nicely 'laid back' and the second half cranks things up in my usual style. I especially love the intense ending. Hope you like it.
A more 'tasteful' number based on Jeff Beck's song 'The Pump' from his 'There & Back' album.
Fairly basic guitar track in the rough style of Zakk Wylde, over a typical Black Label Society riff.
A moody/atmospheric number based on a couple of piano loops, with two guitars 'battling' over the top.
A standard rock'n'roll backing with fast guitar runs over it - lots of wah.
I'm not very funky and this song probably shows it - the backing grooves and I rock!
A quick blast over a tasteful backing - I'm very happy with the way this came out.
