Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I do play live with The Pennock Stephens Project and sometimes solo. One day I hope to play dead too. My dog is teaching me that trick.
Your musical influences
Well, Bob Dylan, of course. It was his early folk albums that got me interested in songwriting. Leonard Cohen took me deeper into it. Then there's John Prine, Van Morrison, Tom Waits, Leon Redbone, Joni Mitchell... Too many to name, really.
What equipment do you use?
My favorite guitar is a Ventura (circa 1971).
