Mike Shaw
Mike is a singer/songwriter from Birmingham, AL. He is married with two kids, Melodi (5), and Canon (2 months).
The 'band' is usually a very tribal approach. We call who we need when something is going on. The core group is:

Drew Belk (guitar/bass)

Jennifer Mosley (BGV's)
There are many, many others that jump in from time to time though.
The overall musical goal is to get good Christian songs into as many ears as possible, and to make them so listenable that people won't want to put them away. We want to be a musical force that focuses people's day on Christ.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yes, from 10-20 times per year, almost always at churches or church events. It's always fun althought it can be stressful.
Your musical influences
Of course I have the big iconic influences, but to be honest the biggest ones are the people I get to work with.
Rodney (of Wayne), Jacob (of Lynam), and Jason (Synchromesh Studios) are fantastic players and songwriters.
