Mike McGinty
Bristol born Mike McGinty began singing at the age of 9. Ever since, he has always been an all round entertainer. But his real passion is songwriting, and 3 years ago he set out to make something of himself. He started recording at the age of 11, just using basic recording equiptment such as a cassette recorder, Microphone, and an amplifier. Mike grew up living on and off with both parents, and in childrens care homes, but always had a passion for singing. As life went on, Mike took every oppertunity he could to learn more about the music industry. He still remains in the south west of the UK, but if his music carer takes off he will probably live back in Bristol.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I ventured into music myself, mainly through taking opportunities at the right time and being very persistant in what I wanted to learn. I started with basic equiptment and followed on from there.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I'm mainly a recording artist but have got future plans for live performance sometime in the near future.
Your musical influences
I am a passionate 80's music lover, so I would have to say Paul Young and various other artist of the decade.
