Mike Hee
Dj, singer, and producer Mike Hee has been at this for about 6 years, producing everything from Drum and Bass, to Hip Hop and House. Now is in the process of putting together his own album called SKINNY which should be finished by November. Keep you eye out for it.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Was under the moniker DJ Skinny for a while but changed it because there was another one in my area doing the same thing.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yeah... I spin out usually, a lot of underground house parties and clubs.
Your musical influences
My musical influences are The Neptunes, Timbaland, Stevie Wonder, Prince, Michael Jackson, Armand Van Helden, Pevin Everett, Lego, Mr. Oizo, Dallas Austin, Mos Def, Hi Tek, Just Blaze, and many more.
What equipment do you use?
This is a secret, but I can say that I have used an MPC 2000 before.
