Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I've been playing and writing my own music since I was 12.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
At church, some open mic nights and songwriting groups.
Your musical influences
James Taylor and John Denver early on, because my Dad played that kinda stuff. Then I had a hair metal faze, mostly Bon Jovi and Poison, but I play nothing like that now. Then I discovered Billy Pilgrim, an awesome acoustic duo that no longer exists, along with Dave Matthews Band, Coldplay, Matchbox 20 and others. I also have a strong pull from Country music, with Alan Jackson, Travis Tritt, and Toby Keith topping the list because of their songwriting. Right now, I am totally into a guy named Sean McConnell, who I found on CDBaby.com. CHECK THIS GUY OUT!!!
What equipment do you use?
I have two Seagull acoustic guitars, and a Stratocaster electric. I record using PC based software like Cakewalk 2002 and others.
Anything else?
My beautiful wife Jen is my best critic of the stuff I put out. She knows, and tells, when something sounds wrong. I love her dearly.
