Mike Da Chef

I've been making beats since 2003. I'm fairly new to the game but growing one day at a time. I like to implement jazzy samples, rich strings and fine melody with unique hip hop snares, bass and crash. It's all about getting that unique sound from unsuspecting sources. I believe in the power of endless tweaking (VST and DXi) during the beat making process. A beat is really never done. While some might say that spending 15 hours on a track is a waste of time, I think it's worth it. at least for now. Better Equipment and faster computer can cut that to a few hours. For now, I can use all the practice I can get.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
