Mid Storey Down was formed on 24th November 2003.
All 4 of the band members have been in other bands such as Blame Everything and Me And The Rest Of Us. With both these bands not finding that initial spark, these two bands have been brought together and with a powerful sound of emotionally driven punk blended with catchy melodies, Mid Storey Down was formed.
The final choice of their particular genre was decided by all 4 band members who are influenced by such bands as Fall Out Boy, The Ataris and bands on the Drive-Thru label such as The Starting Line and Senses Fail. With these influences the band have shaped together their own unique sound of melodic punk.
"Fast guitars blended with explosive lyrics. The harmonies between the two vocalists are done well and this is a rarity in up and coming bands. This is an impressive, but most importantly unique band. The use of both vocalists complimented the bands persistent performance."
