midgrade
Midgrade began in early 1998, right after I graduated from the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL. I collaborated with various other artists, who frequently lent their vocal stylings to my slammin' beats and tight production. Now based in Seattle, Washington, Midgrade brings a diverse group of influences together into some of the funkiest original dance music you've ever heard.

Your musical influences
The old school electro/freestyle masters, like Stevie B, Egyptian Lover, Kyper, Afrika Bambaataa; the new school rulers of Florida Breaks: Icey, Tony Faline, Sharaz, Mike & Charlie, Kromozone Project; and don't forget mid-eighties synthpop: Depeche Mode, New Order, Duran Duran...
What equipment do you use?
Whatever I can get my hands on. Mostly my ASR-10 sampler, the Korg EA-1, Redsound Darkstar, Roland VintageSynth, Logic Audio and various other pieces of software.
