Midair91 are A fun blend of leg-tapping knee jerking mouth watering, flavoured ice cream Who will fall off the ends of the earth to play a good live show. we mean the shows where a band actually plays the music we will go anywhere our icecream van will take us! we want you there WAVING YOUR ICECREAM SCOOOOPS!. We love you for listening!
2006
we entered a comp run by popworld promotes and outsideline looking for the best unsigned acts each month and the winners would get the chance to do a uk tour plus play live on channel 4 and t4's popworld! Fans had to vote for the band they wanted to win and we won on the month of october! by getting over 800'000 points! each text costing 1.50, After texting in our fans had chance of downloading the song they voted for which was 'TAILS SAY KEEP HER'.
2007
we appeared on popworld! this was watched by anyone tuned into channel four and later t4! after appearing on popworld we had alot of exposure by radio and local news papers!
2008
entering hmv unsigned we got picked out of 10 bands that reached the final by a panel of judges. fans voted in free for the band they wanted in the final, when the final came we was lucky enough to be chosen :)
by winning we had the chance to record our single at abbey road studios and then release it as a UK single. The song was 'On my mind'. after recording the single the release never went as planned but we was able to release the single On the website of hmv! WWW.HMV.CO.UK. The single got 5% of all downloads from the site that week, and for an unsigned band thats an acheivement!!!
we hope that in 2009 we can keep making music and playing shows to great fans!! we hope you will support us and listen to our music because without you all it wouldnt be worth doing anymore so thanks everyone!!
