The New Era is here and it aint in the form of a ballcap. Big Nix AKA MicroPhoniX is an independent hip hop artist who is delivering a refreshing new awakening to the hip-hop scene, one track at a time. Born and raised and in Nova Scotia, Canada, Nix had always dreamed of one day playing a significant role in the hip hop industry. He is known for his incredulous style, remarkable flow and a hunger like no other before him. He has completed numerous projects, most notably including Nova Prospektz 2006 release "Mission: Unstoppable". With a portfolio that boasts over one hundred tracks, he is still working hard to deliver that unique sound and freshness. Currently completing his debut LP "Alchemy", Phonix is a force to be reckoned with in 2008.

Your musical influences
I hate mainstream hip hop. I try to add my own little spin on things by incorporating lyricism and intellecualism for a unique sound that seperates my music from anything you've heard.
