Emcee/Musician
Style: Original B-Boy Hip Hop, with a touch of Classic Rock, Soul, and Reggae. Alternative Rap with mainstream edge.
Performance: With a DJ and a live band. (Plays guitar and raps simultaneously during a portion of each set)
Opened For: Krs-One, Busta Rhymes, Ice Cube, Cam’ron, Scarface, and George Clinton/Parliament Funkadelic.
(Has also worked with George Clinton. Featured on a hidden track on forthcoming Album)
Goal: To be heard nationally and make music for a living.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I play with all professionals. The legendary Kevon Smith on the lead guitar, Juan of a Kind on the drums, Doug Turley on the bass, and the world famous DJ Risky Bizness on the 1'& 2's.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I've headlined across Chicago & throughout the country.
Your musical influences
Everyone from Rakim to Jim Morrison.
What equipment do you use?
I use an Ensoniq ASR-10, an Ovation acoustic, a Gibson SG, a few sound modules and Pro Tools.
Also: Nag Champa and alot of Coors Light.
