I am a singer based in Southern California. I;ve always enjoy singing. Mostly when I am playing my guitar but when I find beautiful and melodic music I get inspired and want to sing it or if someone sings a song that is edgy and says something that I feel, I want to sing it. Over the years I've worked hard to overcome stage fright and to sing different styles of music. I always feel I am improving. Singing is very important to me as it allows me to express myself in a way that I cannot express with words alone. Singing adds that additional element of soul that people sense and feel.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I have performed the national anthem at local sporting events, including the California Angels' baseball team. It is quite a thrill to sing such a powerful song in front of so many people in a huge venue! I have been singing with a Big Band at the Elks Club in Redondo Beach. This is a new venue for me. The band is great. There are 3 saxaphones, one horn, piano, drummer, and base player. My voice is suited for the old Gershwin songs. Like I said I sing all types of music and I love country/pop songs. I think they are soulful and powerful. I'd love to go to Nashville and spend time singing in some of the venues there.
