Michael Silvestri plays instrumental classical and original acoustic guitar music.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Yes.
Your musical influences
Julian Bream, John Williams, Jorge Morel, Segovia, Paco de Lucia, Juan Serrano, - I love the classical guitar but also I am very influenced by world folk music. Latin American, Flamenco, Celtic etc.. are all a part of what influences me in my compositions.
What equipment do you use?
I have 2 guitars made by Lester Devoe and one made by Khono - I use a Yamaha 4 track mini disk to recorded with 2 Shure bg 4.1 mics and and Audix cx 101 and 3 art tube preamps for each mic. My mics are all placed an arms length away. Each mic is assigned to a seperate track - bgs are panned hard left and right - audix is dead center
