Kitchen-tables and porches. Really most anywhere. I’ve opened for Dave Van Ronk, Gillian Welch, Keb Mo, Robert Earl Keen Jr and have played with Townes Van Zandt a bit when I’d run into him around the country. Then there is just playing with my friends and those moments are the best.

John Prine, Bob Dylan, Michael Peter Smith, Nanci Griffith, Tom Waits and any great song. It's really about the song.
