well not until just recently (this past week) i got peak for my apple. I usually just use it to raise the gain and do some last minute compression and EQing.

oh yeah, all you gotta do is set the same snare in two other tracks, turn them down a little, and put them simultaneously together before the real hit on the first snare. you also gotta change the thing that says "1/16" to "1/32", i think... but yeah, let me know if that works for ya

Well pro tools is only good for mixing and recording straight audio into the computer. I'm actually doing everything the hard way, but it's the only "professional sounding" way i can do it right now. Anyways, thanks for listening to my stuff Kurtis, later

Thanks for the info, I really like your new track EWF. I'll probably need to cop Pro Tools, but I don't know if my comp can handle it lol. I like how you threw the vocal sample on the EWF track. It really hits the soul on the real.

Hey Kurtis, yeah I use Reason, but not for the sampling. I use it for the drums or bass or whatever. What i do is use Pro tools, by importing a song or whatever and just finding EXACTLY what part you want to use. Then I pitch shift it, speed it up, or whatever i think will sound good and then put it in context with what i already made.
