Michael Guhil
I wrote, arranged, sung, recorded my songs. No matter what you say, I am very proud of it!
I may need more practice on so many things; guitar, vocals, enunciation/accent, some other things to make my works perfect. I will be doing these for those who love my works and appreciate the lil' something I've done to make my own contribution and meaning of life.
I also need signed and unsigned artist/s or band/s who can make justice to my work. We will just make a very simple and friendly arrangement.:-)
I thank you all for dropping by.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yes, at Mediahub Cafe' all through with my hollow guitar. I like the learnings I get from it, the experience. My first night was very memorable, "nanigas ang mga daliri ko sa kanang kamay" after performing my first three songs and I felt so hard to make some picks and strums perfect. But, I wondered why I still made it throught for 2 hours.
Your musical influences
When I entered the TEATRO at the age of 10, my interest in music was awakened by the songs of Joey Ayala at ang Bagong Lumad, Noel Cabangon and the Buklod, and later on I heard the songs of Garry Granada. As time passed by, I started to like the songs of BREAD, JAMES INGRAM, CHICAGO,MICHAEL BOLTON, and DAVID POMERANZ. But the best of all were the songs interpreted by MARTIN NIEVERA.
I like easy-listening music. Music that simplicity is composed of acceptability of the tune and arrangement, and its friendliness to the listeners.I am very much ineterested with acoustic, soul, gospel, Rythm and Blues, and classics.
What equipment do you use?
6-string hollow acoustic guitar
(one that is traditionally used for serenade)
