Michael Grey
My name is Michael Grey. I am a songwriter/producer/artist from Milwaukee Wisconsin. I have been singing since the age of 10, and writing songs since the age of fourteen. I am very passionate about music and it has inspired me to pursue a career that will allow me to inspire and help others. In the near future, I would love to write songs for artists in the industry and use the success that I may gain from it to help develop new talents in the Midwest, more specifically my hometown of Milwaukee. I am only one of many who are overlooked because of our geographic placement.
I write all types of songs for all types of genres which is why I believe my greatest gift is songwriting. My main genre however remains R&B/Soul/Pop.

Whenever I'm afforded the opportunity, I love to perform my music. Mostly I write songs and record them in my studio.
Your musical influences
Artistically I admire Timbaland, The Neptunes, Dr. Dre, and Rodney Jerkins when it comes to production. Each has learned to develop a sound. That takes hard work! I love Lauryn, Misssy, D'Angelo, Maxwell, Babyface, Kenny Greene, B. McKnight and every other artist who can do it all - from the writing to the performing to the recording.
