Micah Rich is an artist, focusing not just on catchy and heartfelt songwriting, but intricate and thoughtful lyrics and intense guitar rhythms. Often he experiments combing as many contrasting styles as he can, at times fusing acoustic rock with experimental electronicka to hiphop and rap. Welckome to something new, ladies and gentlemen.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
The band was formed when Micah Rich picked up a guitar in the eighth grade. He has not since put it down, but picked up drum machines, various orchestral accompaniers, basses, vocal cords, and whatever else he can put his hands on.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
At the moment Micah Rich is playing unsteadily around Central New York, but soon is to kick off some shows in various coffeeshops and venues in Maine.
Your musical influences
Micah Rich combines the experimentation of Dave Matthews with the guitar chords of Jason Mraz and vocal chops of Howie Day.
